IN the notice dated the 18th day of August 1955, declaring land taken for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land, published in Gazette, 18 August 1955, No. 54, page 1305, for the area shown as ‘‘3 acres 1 rood 36·4 perches’’, read ‘‘6 acres 1 rood 36·4 perches’’.

Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District Vested in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 27, District of Tamaki, situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District: Area, 1 rood 24 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 767, folio 42 (limited as to parcels and title). As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1256 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of October 1955.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the purposes of the New Plymouth–Wellington Railway (Tawa Flat Deviation) is hereby set apart for the development of water power (Khandallah Substation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of October 1955.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 18·35 perches.
Being Lot 19 of Block VII, D.P. 2425, part Section 6, Harbour District. All certificate of title, Volume 317, folio 158, Wellington Land Registry.
Situated in the City of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of October 1955.
