Appointment

Equipment Division

Corporal Hugh Taggart BELL, D.F.M. (77602), is granted a short-service commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Equipment Division), Regular Air Force, for a period of five years with the rank of Flying Officer, and with seniority as from date of appointment, to be followed by a period of four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. Dated 30 August 1955.

Extension of Commission

Special Duties Division

Squadron Leader Marshall LAIRD, D.Sc., Ph.D. (75604), is granted an extension of his commission for the period 1 July 1954 to 29 October 1954 inclusive.

TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE

Amendment

The notice published in the N.Z. Gazette No. 55, dated 25 August 1955, page 1339, in so far as it relates to “Frederick Russell Joseph Meyrick” is hereby amended to read “dated 3 September 1954” in lieu of “dated 25 August 1954”.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Promotions

Flight Lieutenant Peter Stanley Voss (133802) is granted the temporary rank of Squadron Leader with effect from 1 September 1955.

Flying Officer Ian Ambury Miller Prior, M.D., M.R.C.P., M.R.A.C.P. (133948), is granted the temporary rank of Flight Lieutenant with effect from 8 August 1955.

Transfers

Squadron Leader Marshall LAIRD, D.Sc., Ph.D. (75604) is transferred from the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Regular Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four years. Dated 30 October 1954.

The undermentioned officers are transferred from the General Duties Branch, Territorial Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers, for a period of four years, with effect from the dates shown:

Board Appointed to Have Control of Lincoln Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Springs County Council to be the Lincoln Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.
