Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Kirwee

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the N.Z. Gazette, become a road; and that said road shall be under the control of the Malvern County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 18·65 perches.
Being railway land being part Reserve 1301.
Situated in Block XIT, Hawkins Survey District, Malvern County. (S.O. 8880.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 13709 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of October 1955.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Auckland City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 48 ft.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 12 perches, more or less, being part Lots 83, 84, and 85, D.P. 40822, being part Allotment 29, District of Tāmaki.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148181 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be Government road: 16·2 perches.
