HAWKSBURY RABBIT BOARD
COPY of resolution passed at a special meeting of the Hawksbury Rabbit Board, held in the Waikouaiti Borough Council Chambers on Monday, the 11th day of July 1955, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Board held on Monday, the 15th day of August 1955:
‘‘It was moved by Mr A. W. J. Apps, and seconded by Mr A. T. Heckler, that the following resolution by way of special order be passed in accordance with section 2 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, as amended by section 2 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act 1951:
‘‘(1) That a loan of one thousand two hundred pounds, (£1,200), called the Housing Loan 1954, be raised for the purpose of purchasing a dwelling for the Hawksbury Rabbit Board Staff.
‘‘(2) This loan to be repayable by equal half-yearly instalments of principal over a term of fifteen years (15 years), with interest at four per cent (4%), and secured by the issue of thirty (30) debentures of £53 11s. 7d. each, with the appropriate interest coupons, one debenture being repayable each half-year during the currency of the loan.
‘‘(3) A special rate of twopence (2d.) per acre on all rateable property within the Hawksbury Rabbit District be appropriated and pledged as security for the debenture issue.
‘‘And that the above resolution will be submitted to a further meeting of the Hawksbury Rabbit Board to be held in the Board’s Meeting Room, Waikouaiti, on Monday, the 15th day of August 1955, at 7.30 p.m., for confirmation as a special order.’
‘‘This resolution was carried.’’
At the meeting of the 15th day of August: ‘‘It was moved by Mr J. W. Matheison, and seconded by Mr H. A. S. Orbell, that the resolution by way of special order for the Housing Loan 1954 be confirmed.
‘‘The motion was carried.’’

HANNAH’S LAMBTON QUAY BUILDINGS LIMITED
REDUCTION OF CAPITAL
In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of Hannah’s Lambton Quay Buildings Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 9th day of September 1955 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £219,000 to £73,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 29th day of September 1955. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
‘‘The capital of the said company is £73,000 divided into 73,000 shares of £1 each, all of such shares being fully paid up.’’

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held at Auckland on Wednesday, the 14th day of September 1955, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:
‘‘That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that the company be wound up, and that Mr J. D. Rose, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.’’
All persons or companies having claims against the company are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or before the 20th day of October 1955, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

PATEA BOROUGH COUNCIL
WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1955, £4,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Patea Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
‘‘That, for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000 authorized to be raised by the Patea Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for improvements to the Borough water supply, the Patea Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·003d. upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Patea Borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.’’

KAHAROA RABBIT BOARD
THE following resolution was confirmed at a meeting of Board Members held on 3 June 1955:
‘‘That the Kaharoa Rabbit Board by way of Special Order be authorized to raise a loan of £2,500 for the purchase or erecting of a dwelling for a rabbit board employee, such loan to be repaid with interest by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over a period of twenty-five years and to be secured by an annually recurring special rate of three-quarters of one penny (¾d.) per acre upon the rateable acreage of the Kaharoa Rabbit Board’s area.’’
