Licensing Rawene Garage and Service Station Limited to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Rawene, Hokianga, as a Site for a Garage

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licences and permits Rawene Garage and Service Station Limited, of Rawene (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, marked as Section 1A as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 4084 and 4462 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a garage as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE

This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 3rd day of August 1955.

The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

The Western Side of Portion of Devon Street, in the City of Wellington, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 23rd day of March 1955, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the western side of the portion of Devon Street, adjoining Lots 26 and 27, D.P. 827, being all of the land in certificates of title, Volume 119, folio 18, and Volume 159, folio 224, Wellington Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Devon Street, fronting Lots 26 and 27, D.P. 827, being part Section 1, Block XV B, Polhill Gully Maori Reserve, Wellington Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 148070 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
