HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Ngakuru Rabbit District Order 1955.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Ngakuru Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 26th day of July 1950,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE NGAKURU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 119,000 acres in the Rotorua and Matamata Counties and Rotorua Borough bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block III, Horohoro Survey District, being the intersection of the right bank of the Utahina Stream with the western boundary of Kaitao-Rotohokahoka No. 3r 2 Block and running easterly generally down the aforesaid right bank, to and along the southern sides of Pukehangi and Horohoro Roads, to and south-easterly along the eastern side of the Rotorua-Taupe State Highway to the northernmost corner of part Rotomahana-Parekarangi No. 6A 2 No. 1A Block in Block XIV, Tarawera Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of Rotomahana-Parekarangi No. 6A 2 No. 2A Block to the southern corner of Rotomahana-Parekarangi No. 2b Block (Paeroa) in Block V, Paeroa Survey District; thence again southerly generally along the north-western boundaries of Rotomahana-Parekarangi Nos. 3A 3A 3B 2B 2A, 3A 3A 3B 2B 1, 3A 3A 3B 2A, 3A 3A 3B 2B 2B, Part 3A 3A 3B 1, Part 3A 3A, Part 3A 3A 1, and Part 3A 2n Blocks, and the north-western and south-western boundaries of Rotomahana-Parekarangi No. 3A 2A Block to the northern corner of Paeroa South C No. 2a Block in Block IX, Paeroa Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of Paeroa South A No. 3 Block to the right bank of the Waikato River; thence north-westerly generally down the aforesaid right bank, to and up the right bank of the Whangapoa Stream to the northern boundary of part of Lot 3 on D.P. 16299, being part of Whakamaru Maungaiti Block; thence northerly generally along the said northern boundary for a distance of 6100 links, to and along a right line to a point due east of part of Lot 4 on D.P. 12322, being part of the aforesaid Whakamaru Maungaiti Block; thence along another right line to the southernmost corner of part of Lot 4 aforesaid, and thence generally northerly along the south-western boundary of the said part of Lot 4 to the angle; thence along another right line to Peg XXIV at the junction of the old Putaruru-Rotorua Road and the Putaruru-Rotorua Road as shown on S.O. 31518; thence north-easterly generally along another right line to a point bearing 20° 17' 30" distant 2828·4 links from the northernmost corner of Lot 6 on D.P. S. 1533, being part of the said Whakamaru Maungaiti Block; thence along a series of right lines 2000 links distant from and parallel to the eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 25102, and Lots 6 and 5, D.P. S. 1533, all being parts of the said Whakamaru Maungaiti Block, the northern sides of the Rotorua-Atiamuri Main Highway, the right banks of the Tahoma-a-tara and Rahopakapa Streams and the north-western boundary of Rotomahana Parekarangi No. 1c 4 Block to the south-western boundary of Rotomahana Parekarangi No. 1A Block, to and along the generally south-eastern boundaries of Patere South No. 1b 3 and parts of Nos. 1b 2 and 1A Blocks, and Kaitao Rotohokahoka Nos. 3A 5, 3C 5 and 3C 1 Blocks to the southern corner of Tihi-O-Tonga D Block; thence along the southern boundary of the aforesaid block for a distance of 2500 links; thence along a right line due south to the boundary between Blocks VII and XI, Horohoro Survey District; thence along the aforesaid boundary and along the boundary between Blocks VIII and XII, Horohoro Survey District, to the western boundary of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 4b 1b 1 Block; thence along a right line to a point known as Te Tiuri on the eastern boundary of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 4b 2A Block; thence northerly along the aforesaid eastern boundary and the eastern and northern boundaries of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 4b 2c Block and the northern boundaries of Rotomahana Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 4b 2a and 6A 2 No. 4b 2c Blocks, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Tihi-O-Tonga D Block and along a right line to the south-western corner of Kaitao-Rotohokahoka No. 3r 2 Block, and along that boundary to the point of commencement, crossing several intervening public roads.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Te Puke Rabbit District Order (No. 2) 1955.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Te Puke Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day of June 1952,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TE PUKE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 68,300 acres, in the South Auckland Land District, in the Tauranga County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern shores of the entrance to the Tauranga Harbour, and running south-easterly generally along the shores of the Bay of Plenty to the right bank of the Kaituna River, in Block VI, Te Tumu Survey District; thence westerly generally up that right bank to a point in line with the western boundary of part Tumu Kaituna No. 1 Block, on D.P. 16773; thence along a right line across the Kaituna River, aforesaid, to and along the middle of Belt’s Road to the middle of the Paeroa–Whakatane State Highway; thence southerly generally along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the northern boundary of the Borough of Te Puke; thence along a right line to and along the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of that borough, as described in N.Z. Gazette, No. 28, of the 11th day of April 1935, page 1047, to and up the middle of the Ohineangaanga Stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 18, Block VI, Maketu Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 18 aforesaid, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of No. 2 Road; thence along that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 16, Block VI, aforesaid; thence easterly generally along a right line to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 16, aforesaid, the eastern boundary of part Section 15 of the said Block VI, to and along the southern boundary of Section 10, Block VI, aforesaid, and along a right line being that boundary produced across No. 1 Road, to and along the eastern side of that road, to and along the southern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, aforesaid, to the left bank of the Waiari River; thence southerly and then westerly generally up that left bank, to and up the middle of the Mangatoi Stream, to and along the generally northern boundaries of Sections 5 and 4, Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Waoku Nos. 1, 1B, 1A, and 3 Blocks, and the generally northern boundary of Waoku No. 2A Block, to and down the middle of the Waimapu Stream, and up the middle of the KiriKiri Stream to the eastern side of Ohauiti Road in Block III, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence still northerly along that side, to and along the generally north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18834, being part Ohauiti No. 2 and Waitaha No. 2 Blocks, in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Kaitimako Stream; thence down that right bank, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Kaitimako F No. 1 Block, along a right line being that boundary produced across a public road, to and along the eastern side of that road, and along the generally southern boundary of Kaitimako H Block, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the generally western boundary of Lot 5, L.T. Plan S. 3010, being part Waitaha No. 2 Block, aforesaid; thence along that boundary, along the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 5, and the generally western boundary of Lot 3, on the said L.T. Plan S. 3010, being part Waitaha No. 2 Block, aforesaid, and of Section 6, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, to and along the generally southern and western sides of Waitaha Road and the southern side of the Paeroa–Whakatane State Highway, to and down the middle of the Waitao Stream, to and along the generally eastern shores of the Tauranga Harbour to the point of commencement.
