Revoking Portion of a Warrant Excluding a Portion of a Street from Limitation as to Speed and Excluding Portions of Streets from the Speed Limitation Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 21st day of April 1950* which applies to the street described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby excludes those portions of streets described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Warkworth Town District—
The Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State Highway No. 5. (All that portion from the northern boundary of Warkworth Town District, as now constituted, to a point 19 chains, measured, along the said State highway in a south-easterly direction from the said boundary; also all that portion from the south-western boundary of the said town district, as now constituted, to a point 61 chains, measured, in a northerly direction along the said State highway from the south-western boundary.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Warkworth Town District—
(1) Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State Highway No. 5. (All that portion from the northern boundary of Warkworth Town District to a point 13 chains, measured, along the said State highway in a south-easterly direction from the said boundary; also all that portion from the south-western boundary of the said town district, as now constituted, to a point 61 chains, measured, in a northerly direction along the said State highway from the south-western boundary.)
(2) Albert Road.
(3) Wards Road.
(4) Sanderson Road.
(5) Hill Street. (All that portion commencing at its junction with Albert Road and terminating at the western boundary of Warkworth Town District.)
(6) Woodcocks Road.
(7) McKinney Road.
(8) Wilson Road.
(9) Hepburn Creek Road.
(10) Pulham Road. (All that portion commencing at a point 5 chains, measured, in a north-westerly direction along the said road from its junction with Wilson Road and terminating at the said junction.)

Revoking Portions of Warrants Excluding Streets from Limitation as to Speed Imposed by the Transport Act 1949, Section 36
———
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 21st day of December 1936,* and hereby also revokes that portion of the Warrant dated the 23rd day of August 1940† excluding the portions of a street described in the Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

SITUATED within Manurewa Town District—
Great South Road (all that portion from its junction with Alfriston Road to the southern boundary of Manurewa Town District, a distance of approximately 66 chains).
SITUATED within Manurewa Borough—
Great South Road (all that portion from a point 5 chains measured along the said road in a northerly direction from its junction with Corin Avenue to the northern boundary of Manurewa Borough, a distance of approximately 54 chains).

Notice of Intention to Take Land and an Easement Over Land in Block III, Uawa Survey District, for a Quarry
———
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a quarry, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto and an easement over the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken and of the land in respect of which the easement is so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tolaga Bay and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land or the taking of the said easement over land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land or to the taking of such easement over land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142548 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 26th day of July 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 1 rood 4·3 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. S.1897, being part Allotments 514 and 608, Whangamarino Parish.
Situated in Block XV, Maramarua Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1094, folio 37, Auckland Land Registry.
