DANNEVIRKE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments thereto, and the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, to execute a public work, to wit, the establishment of an aerodrome, and for such purpose to take the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A plan showing the land to be taken (together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land) is deposited in the Dannevirke County Council’s Office in Denmark Street, Dannevirke, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land shall set forth such objections in writing, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Dannevirke County Council.

DUNEDIN METROPOLITAN REGIONAL PLANNING AUTHORITY

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the section of the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Scheme known as “The Greater Green Island Section”, prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, was approved by the above authority by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 3rd day of August 1955, after all objections relating to the scheme had been disposed of.

Copies of this section of the regional planning scheme have been deposited in the offices of each council and every public library within the region and may be inspected (without fee) by any person at any time when these offices and public libraries are open to the public.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hauraki Catchment Board Housing Loan No. 2 1955, £20,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Hauraki Catchment Board held on 25 August 1955, the following resolution was passed:

“In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and of all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Hauraki Catchment Board hereby resolves:

“1. That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of Hauraki Catchment Board Housing Loan No. 2 1955, £20,000, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act, the Hauraki Catchment Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·00679d. in the pound on all rateable property in the Hauraki Catchment District on the basis of the capital value, and that special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, during a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off;

“2. That the Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for payment of the said loan the annually recurring rate of 0·00679d. in the pound on all rateable property in the Hauraki Catchment District on the basis of the capital value made and levied by resolution dated 25 August 1955.”
