Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District, Vested in
the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a Public School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Part Motukiore J No. 1 Block, situated in Block XV, Mangamuka Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 6ยท4 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/806A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 27039.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of September 1955.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Wildlife Refuge in and
Adjoining Block III, Otago Peninsula Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a wildlife refuge; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 12th day of September 1955.

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 147431 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
