Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Approval of Direction Indicators for Motor Vehicles
PURSUANT to regulation 10 (6) of the Traffic Regulations 1936,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for use on motor vehicles in terms of regulation 10 (2) and regulation 15 (4) of the said regulations, direction indicators of the make specified in the Schedule hereto and which are described and illustrated in a catalogue held by the Transport Department.

PURSUANT to clause (2) of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1936,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulation, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

RED reflectors manufactured by Bluemel Bros. Ltd., England, having 1½ in. diameter lenses mounted in white plastic holder marked ‘BLUEMEL’S No. 52, PRISMATIC’.

PURSUANT to clause (22) of regulation 7 of the Traffic Regulations 1936,* the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulation, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
RED reflectors manufactured by Britax (London) Ltd., England, having 3 in. diameter lenses mounted in black rubber holders marked ‘Britax 5818/11/12’.

RED reflectors manufactured by Britax (London) Ltd., England, having 3 in. diameter lenses mounted in black rubber holders marked ‘Britax 5818/11/12’.
Red reflectors (Model Nos. 67, 67B, 67SHF, 672HF) manufactured by Fairylites Ltd., England, having 2 in. diameter lenses. Model 67 has base ring of metal housing marked ‘FAIRYLITE (REGD.) BRITISH MADE PAT. NO. 532672’, and models 67B, 67SHF, and 672HF are marked on the back of the metal housing ‘FAIRYLITES LTD., SOUTHWICK, SUSSEX’.

Electric Generating Plant Vehicles Exempted from Annual Licence Fees
PURSUANT to paragraph (n) of the First Schedule to the Motor Vehicles (Licensing Fees Exemption) Regulations 1948,* any motor vehicle designed and used on the road exclusively for carrying an electric generating plant shall be exempt from the payment of annual licence fees under Part II of the Transport Act 1949.
