Declaring Private Land to be a Private Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the private land described in the Schedule hereto to be a private scenic reserve under and subject to the provisions of the said Act and subject also to the following special conditions, that is to say, the Dunedin City Council may:

(a) Plant or permit responsible persons or organizations to plant, cultivate, or remove flowers, shrubs, or trees in the beautification of the reserve and, in particular, to improve or permit responsible persons or organizations to do such things as are thought necessary from time to time to improve the said reserve.

(b) Construct or permit responsible persons or organizations to construct public amenities such as conveniences and fireplaces.

(c) Do all things necessary to protect the existing trig. station and prohibit any act which would interfere with its usefulness.

(d) Graze or permit the grazing of stock.

(e) Erect, construct, procure, or alter reservoirs, tanks, roads, fences, buildings, erections, plant, and installations of any kind, and lay pipes, water mains, and drains, and may in general do any other work as the said City Council shall think proper from time to time.

Changing the Name of Coronation Park Domain, South Auckland Land District
