The half-year will commence on the first days of January
and July in each year.
The masters or owners of all regular trading vessels shall
pay their dues in advance to the treasurer of the said Council.
All dues payable by irregular trading vessels shall be paid
to the treasurer of the said Council, or to some one appointed
by him to receive them, the payments to be made by the
master or owner of the vessel upon the first application.
WHARFAGE ON GOODS
All goods (with the exception of shingle, metal, or
lime) landed on or shipped from any wharf, per s. d.
ton weight or measurement
For all metal, shingle, or lime landed on or shipped
from any wharf or loading stage by any person,
firm, company, or local authority, for loading only,
per ton or cubic yard
Minimum charge
All goods not removed from the wharves or sheds within
seven days will be charged 6d. per ton per week or part of
a week.
STORAGE
Every person, firm, company, or corporate body whose goods
are stored in any shed or bin upon any wharf, after the expiry
of seven days, shall pay, before receipt of such goods (when
called on by the Council or wharfinger so to do), storage for
such goods as hereinafter mentioned, that is to say:
For each and every day or part of a day-
s. d.
For metal or shingle (per cubic yard)
For all other goods (per ton or part of a ton, weight
or measurement)
PASSENGER RATES
For each passenger landed on or shipped from the
Matakana Sandspit Wharf
PENALTIES
Any person, firm, or company which-
(1) Permits any offensive matter to be placed on or about
any wharf premises: or
(2) Deposits the remains and/or the offal of fish about
any wharf premises: or
(3) Uses any wharf premises or sheds for private purposes
or for any purpose for which such wharf or shed
was not intended:
shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £20.
All landing dues shall be paid quarterly, on returns to be
furnished to the Clerk of the said Council or other person
appointed by the said Council, by the receiver of the goods,
or on returns from the books of the master or owner of the
vessel which carried them.

Authorizing the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of the
Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board to Invest Moneys in
Certain Local Body Securities

At the Government House at Wellington this 24th day of
August 1955
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act
1927 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes
the investment by the Depreciation Fund Commissioners of
the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board in debentures of the
Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board, bearing interest at 4
per cent and maturing on the 1st day of June 1965, of the
sum of twenty-one thousand four hundred pounds (£21,400),
the said sum having been received in terms of section 22 of
the said Act by the said Commissioners.

Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of
the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the
9th day of December 1936 and published in the N.Z. Gazette
on the 10th day of the same month, at page 2387, authorizing
Norah Schweigaard Grant, of Waipu, Farmer, to use water
for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain
electric lines.
