Land Held for Better Utilization Set Apart for Road in the Borough of Mount Maunganui

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for better utilization, is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1955.

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 147524 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of August 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for health purposes (district nurse’s residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John James McCambridge, of Fruitlands, Sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease of Small Grazing Run No. 1237 (Volume 290, folio 131, Otago Land Registry) is hereby taken for soil conservation purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 327 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto together with the right of way appurtenant thereto, created by Conveyance No. 68478, the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto together with the rights of way appurtenant thereto, created by Deeds Nos. 19895 and 14577, the land thirdly described in the Schedule hereto together with the right of way appurtenant thereto, created by Deed No. 15110, and the land fourthly described in the Schedule hereto together with the right of way appurtenant thereto, created by Deed No. 14609, is hereby taken for housing purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the day hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1955.
