Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area of land known as Whataroa Maori Reserve No. 20, situated in Block IV, Okarito Survey District, and containing 281 acres, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of August 1955.

An Easement Taken Over Land in Block VI, Motatau Survey District, for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Maori School

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a Maori school over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to take water from a well situated on the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto, and for that purpose to construct, use, and maintain a well and a pump-house thereon, and to carry out any other works that are deemed necessary by Her Majesty the Queen to provide an unpolluted and adequate supply of water to the land taken for the purposes of a Maori school described in Proclamations Nos. 8728 and 11341, Auckland Land Registry, and, secondly, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to convey water from the said well and pump-house along, under, or over the land described in the said Schedule, and for that purpose to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of pipes, along, under, or over the said land described in the said Schedule, the aforesaid easement to be appurtenant to the land taken for the purposes of a Maori school by Proclamations Nos. 8728 and 11341, Auckland Land Registry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of August 1955.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145841 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 22nd day of August 1955.
