WAIRIOA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1920 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, a road, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council and the Waipa County Council propose under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take for road the portions of land described in the First Schedule hereto and to close the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto. A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken and of the portions of road proposed to be closed lies open for public inspection at the office of the Raglan County Council, Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia, and at the office of the Waipa County Council, Te Awamutu, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing on or before the 27th day of September 1955.

Potter of Counsel for VICTOR VINCENT FLETCHER, the Liquidator of the above-named Company, and there being no opposition to the application for release and discharge of the said Victor Vincent Fletcher as liquidator of the above-named company, this Court hereby orders that the said Victor Vincent Fletcher be and he is hereby released and discharged from his duties of and as liquidator of the above-named company; and hereby further orders that the cost of this application, excluding the fees of the liquidator, shall be allowed £26 5s., together with disbursements and witnesses expenses to be settled by the Registrar, such witnesses expenses to include the sum of £21, together with disbursements allowed to the liquidator in respect of his attendances on and other matters incidental to this application.
