Land Taken for Police Purposes (Residence) in the Borough of Hastings

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of August 1955.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 8·6 perches.
Being Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 7104, being part Heretaunga Block, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 118, folio 143, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
Situated in the Borough of Hastings.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of August 1955.

Land Taken for Prison Purposes in the City of Invercargill

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for prison purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of August 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 1·5 perches.
Adjoining Lots 1 and 2, Block IV, D.P. 299, being part Section 27, Block I, Invercargill Hundred.
Situated in the City of Invercargill, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6191.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 144273 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of August 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a parking place, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of August 1955.
