THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 44 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby revokes the Order in Council dated 22 December 1954,
and published in Gazette, 22 December 1954, Vol. III, page
2070, declaring land to be a motorway, in so far as it affects
the land described in the Schedule hereto, the land being no
longer required.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land no longer required:
20.68 perches.
Adjoining part land in D.P. 9234, being part Section 51,
Porirua District? and street closed by Proclamation No. 4278,
Wellington Registry, and taken for a public school by Proclamation No. 50992, Wellington Registry, and part Lot 27,
D.P. 14282, being part Section 51, Porirua District.
Situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District, Borough of Tawa Flat. (S.O. 23385.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 147356 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.

Declaring Land in the Nelson District to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen Under the Provisions of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby vested in Her Majesty the Queen under the provisions of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

Temporarily Appointing a Member of the Auckland Tramways Appeal Board

WHEREAS it is provided in clause 12 of the regulations under the Tramways Amendment Act 1910, made on the 2nd day of February 1911, that in the case of the unavoidable absence of either of the members of the Board other than the Chairman, the Governor-General may temporarily appoint some suitable person to act as a member of the Board during such absence:
And whereas the employers' representative on the Board is unavoidably absent. and it is expedient that a temporary member should be appointed:
Now, therefore, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles William Moke Norrie, tha Governor-General of New Zealand, pursuant to clause 12 of the said regulations, hereby appoint Norman Berridge Spencer, of Auckland, to be the representative of the employers on the Auckland Tramways Appeal Board during the absence of the employers' representative.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 4th day of August 1955.
