NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and in
the matter of the Public Works Act 1908.

To Mrs FRANCES STEPHENSON, Putaruru.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Putaruru Borough Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of
the public street known as the Tirau Road in the Borough of
Putaruru; and for the purpose of such public work the lands
described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and
notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk
to the said Council, situated in Glenshea Street, and is open for
inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office
hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing,
and send the same within forty days from the first publication
of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers,
Glenshea Street, Putaruru.

SCHEDULE

All those pieces of land situated in the Borough of Putaruru,
being first, all that piece of land containing one (1) rood and
decimal one (0·1) of a perch, more or less, being part Lot 11
on Deposited Plan 34674, and part of the land in certificate
of title, Volume S.467, folio 218, South Auckland Registry,
and second, all that piece of land containing twelve decimal
two (12·2) perches, being part Lot 12 on the said Deposited
Plan 34674 and marked “Right of Way” thereon, and being
part of the land in the said certificate of title, Volume S.467,
folio 218, South Auckland Registry.

Aithison Limited will be held on Friday, the 29th day
of July 1955, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up
is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

P UBLIC notice is hereby given that the Mosgiel Borough
Council at its meeting held on the 4th day of July 1955
has resolved to alter the Mosgiel District Scheme under
section 29 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district
is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the alteration of the operative
district scheme.

Proposals marked “Mosgiel District Scheme” should be
addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s
office on or before the 30th day of September 1955.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction
of a road, and for the purposes of such public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required
to be taken for road is deposited at the public office of the
County Clerk to the said Council situate at Robe Street, New
Plymouth, and the plans are open for inspection (without fee)
by all persons during ordinary office hours.

BLOCK XIX, INVERCARGILL HUNDRED

N OTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, to carry out certain works, namely, to form and operate
a gravel pit, and the piece of land described in the Schedule
hereto is required to be taken for a gravel pit; and notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the office of the Southland County
Council at Clyde Street, Invercargill, and is there open for
inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of
such works or the taking of such land should, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set
forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty
days from the date of this notice (being the date of the first
