Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block II, Clive Survey District, for Road and for Soil-conservation and River-control Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for soil-conservation and river-control purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Clive, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 6th day of October 1952.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 1 rood 29·47 perches.
