Investment of £10,000 of Lyttelton Harbour Board Funds

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Lyttelton Harbour Board to invest out of its funds the sum of £10,000 of the Special Renewal Fund in debentures of the Waimairi County Council as shown in the Schedule hereto.

Investment of £15,000 of the Wellington Harbour Board Funds

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 53 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the Wellington Harbour Board to invest from the Board’s Harbour Launches Insurance Fund the sum of five thousand pounds (£5,000) for a term of ten years at 4 per cent in the debentures of the Tawa Flat Borough Council Loan Issue of £50,000, Water and Sewerage, and the sum of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) in the debentures of the Wellington City Corporation Loan Issue of £476,000.

Altering Representation of a Combined District on the Auckland Harbour Board and Appointing a Principal Authority

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 13th day of July 1955
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 2nd day of July 1952, and published in the Gazette of the 10th day of July 1952, it is provided, inter alia, that one member of the Auckland Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors of the boroughs of Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Onchunga, Ellerslie, and Mount Wellington, and of the Panmure Township Road District, and the Onehunga Borough Council was selected and appointed to be the principal authority for the purpose of the elections by the electors of the said combined district:
And whereas the said borough of Mount Wellington and the Panmure Township Road District have been united to form a new borough, the Borough of Mount Wellington, and it is expedient to make provision for the representation on the said Board of the said combined district and to select and appoint the principal authority for the purpose of such elections by the electors of the said combined district:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 30 of the Harbours Act 1950, and to all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that one member of the Auckland Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors of the boroughs of Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Onchunga, Ellerslie, and Mount Wellington, in lieu of the election of one member by the electors of the boroughs of Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Onchunga, Ellerslie, and Mount Wellington, and of the Panmure Township Road District, and hereby selects and appoints the Onehunga Borough Council to be the principal authority for the purpose of such elections by the electors of the said combined district.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Wairoa County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
