EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of outstanding duplicate of certificate of title, Volume 110, folio 121, Wellington Registry, in the name of THOMAS DEVOY, of Wellington, FRANCIS MELU, and FRANCIS DELACH (now deceased), both of Otaki, all Roman Catholic Priests, for 1 acre 1 rood 30 perches, and being the land known as Mangapouri No. 5, Manawatu District, and application (K.36776) having been made to me to issue a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such new certificate of title, on the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

GERALDINE BOROUGH COUNCIL

MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Loan 1955, £23,000

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Geraldine Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand pounds (£23,000) authorized to be raised by the Geraldine Borough Council, pursuant to a requisition issued by the Board of Health under section 22 of the Health Act 1920, Seal Book No. 88, dated the 4th day of December 1952, for the purpose of providing sewerage for the Borough of Geraldine with the exception of those lands described in the First Schedule of the New Zealand Gazette No. 63, dated 25 September 1952, page 1606, and a certain Order in Council made on the 21st day of April 1955, page 678, New Zealand Gazette No. 29, the said Geraldine Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eightpence halfpenny (8½d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Geraldine with the exception of those lands described in the First Schedule of the New Zealand Gazette No. 63, dated 25 September 1952, page 1606; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
