Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not
Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928,
the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described
in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land
subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 13th day of May
1954.

Result of Election by Fire Insurance Companies to Fill an
Extraordinary Vacancy on the Fire Board for the Wellington
Urban Fire District

PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of
Internal Affairs hereby gives notice of the result of the
election held on the 31st day of May 1955 by the insurance
companies carrying on business in New Zealand of a member
to the Fire Board for the Wellington Urban Fire District.

Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

PURSUANT to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953,
the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that a list of
unclaimed moneys dated the 3rd day of June 1955, derived
from the Ikaroa Maori Land Court District and held by him,
has been filed in the Office of the Registrar of the Maori Land
Court at Auckland, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, and
Wellington, where the same may be inspected during office
hours without payment of fee.
