A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an Order dated the 2nd day of April 1946, to be road.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Clutha County, containing by admeasurement 799 acres 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Sections 3 and 4, Block V, and Section 30, Block VII, Catlins Survey District. As the same is shown on plan No. 213/28 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 308 and 311.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of June 1955.

Amending an Order in Council Authorizing the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District

At the Government House at Wellington this 22nd day of June 1955

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby further amends the Order in Council dated the 8th day of May 1951 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of the same month, at page 640, authorizing the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to erect and use electric lines within the Hawke’s Bay
Electric Power District, as previously amended by certain Orders in Council, by omitting from clause 3 of the conditions thereto the last sentence, and substituting the sentence, “The transmission and primary distribution voltages shall be 22,000 volts and 11,000 volts between phases.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of June 1955
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 and to section 29 of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of land, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 30 of the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Lumsden Hills Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the Rabbit Board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of land occupied by the ratepayer.

PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE LUMSDEN HILLS RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District and Lumsden Town District and Southland County, situated in the Eyre and Hokonui Survey Districts, containing by estimation 26,800 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 42, Block XXXIX, Eyre Survey District, thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 42 to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence southerly generally along the western boundaries of Runs 191c and 394A to Trig.
