Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of June 1955.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:

A. R. P.

1 33·8 Part Lot 7, D.P. 5025, being part Rural Section 7632; coloured sepia.

1 35 Lots 16 to 20 inclusive, and part Lots 65 and 66, D.P. 903, being part Rural Sections 7026, 9152, and 9165; coloured orange.

Situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 832.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146847 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of June 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of June 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 11·26 perches.

Being part Lot 92, D.P. 4119, being part Section 37, Town of Hawera.

Situated in the Borough of Hawera, Taranaki R.D. (S.O. 696.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146821 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of June 1955.

Land Taken for Public Buildings of the General Government in Block VII, Omapiere Survey District

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of June 1955.

Being Lot 17, D.P. 16475, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 939, folio 3, Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Manawatu Catchment Board as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of June 1955.

Being part Rural Section 393, Township of Palmerston North, being also Lot 5 on Land Transfer Plan No. 16732 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Volume 54, folio 80, and Volume 54, folio 81, and part of Rural Section 393, Township of Palmerston North, being also Lot 8 on Land Transfer Plan No. 16732, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 271, folio 131, Wellington Land Registry.

Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District.
