A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 7 of the Scientific and Industrial Research Act 1952, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scientific and industrial research purposes (botany and crop research); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of June 1955.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Albany Substation); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of June 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 3 roods 31·7 perches.
Being part Lot 4, D.P. 8226, being part Allotment 37, Paremoremo Parish; coloured yellow.
Situated in Block III, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 38623.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146726 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
