26 MAY THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE 859 Revoking the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for a site for a lighthouse described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT PART Reserve 2166, situated in Block XII, Akaroa Survey District, and Block VI, Goughs Survey District: Area, 135 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less. Revoking the Vesting of Control and Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Otago Land District PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the vesting of control in the Leith Valley Public Hall Board and revokes the reservation for a site for a public hall over the land described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE OTAGO LAND DISTRICT SECTION 83, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, together with right of way over part Section 82, and subject to a right of way over part Section 83, created by Transfer 191663. Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of Section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the 11th day of July 1947* relating to a closely populated locality in Marlborough County, and hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE SITUATED in Marlborough Countyโ All that area at Rai Valley consisting of the Blenheim- Nelson State Highway No. 52, commencing at a point 1 chain south of the southern end of the bridge across the Alfred Stream and terminating at the War Memorial. Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936 PURSUANT to clause (26) of regulation 7, and clause (10) of regulation 16 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

Agreement for Grant of Right-of-way in Favour of George Brocklehurst Hooker, of Taumarunui, Civil Servant, Over Land Situated in Block I, Piopiotca Survey District, Taken for a Teacher's Residence, Assented to WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 11th day of May 1955, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34, of the 19th day of May 1955, at page 791, all that piece of land containing approximately 2 roods 34-2 perches, being part Lot 1, D.P. 9124, being part Section 2, Block 1, Rangaroa Village, situated in Block I, Piopioten Survey District, Borough of Taumarunui, was taken for a teacher's residence: And whereas George Brocklehurst Hooker, of Taumarunui, Civil Servant, was entitled to compensation in respect of his interest in the said land: And whereas the Minister of Works agreed to grant to the said George Brocklehurst Hooker a right-of-way over the aforesaid area in addition to the payment of a sum of money in full satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid: And whereas the said George Brocklehurst Hooker agreed to accept such grant of right-of-way and sum of money in full satisfaction of the said compensation: Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
