CORRIGENDA

IN the notice published in Gazette, 24 March 1955, No. 22,
page 446, under the heading ‘Licences Issued to Wholesalers
Under the Sales Tax Act 1932-33, Have Been Cancelled’,
for the words ‘Wyllie and Co., 3/8/54’, read
‘Wytlie and Co., 31/8/54’.
In the notice published in Gazette, 21 April 1955, No. 29, page 693, under the heading,
‘Licences Issued to Wholesalers Under the Sales Tax Act
1932-33, Have Been Cancelled’, for the words ‘Morgan, J.
G., 31/1/54’, read ‘Morgan, J. G., 31/1/55’.
In the List of Wholesalers Licensed Under the Sales Tax Act 1932-33 as at
1 May 1953, for the words ‘Provincial Wholesalers Ltd.’,
read ‘Provincial Wholsalers Co. Ltd.’.

Declaring Land in Wellington Land District Vested in the
Wellington Education Board as a Site for a Public School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained
in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to
time by Proclamation declare that any school site or part of a
school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that
purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the
school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall rest in
Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of
the Proclamation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education
Board, as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her
Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educa-
tional trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 56, Block VI, Waiopelu Survey District: Area, 8
acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 14802.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of May 1955.

Land Held for Post and Telegraph Purposes Set Apart for
Road in Block IX, Hawera Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now
held for post and telegraph purposes, is hereby set apart for
road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the 23rd day of May 1955.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 2·3 perches.
Being part Lot 25, D.P. 4717, being part Section 191, Patea
District, and being part of the land in Proclamation No. 1894.
Situated in Block IX, Hawera Survey District, Taranaki
R.D. (S.O. 8635.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146433 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 11th day of May 1955.
