Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in Column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in Column 1 of the said Schedule.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936
—
PURSUANT to clauses 22 and 26 of regulation 7 and clause 10 of regulation 16 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto, and sample of which is deposited at the Head Office of the Transport Department, Wellington.

Approval of Direction Indicators for Motor Vehicles
—
PURSUANT to regulation 10 (6) of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves, for use on motor vehicles in terms of regulation 10 (2) and regulation 15 (4) of the said regulations, direction indicators of the make specified in the Schedule hereto, and the general arrangement of which is shown in a drawing held by the Transport Department.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—City of New Plymouth

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval was granted on 10 March 1955 to the New Plymouth City Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by sections, as follows:
(1) Central Area Section, as described in the Schedule hereto.
(2) Outer Area Section, being the remainder of the city.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY DISTRICT SCHEME (CENTRAL AREA SECTION)
ALL that area in the City of New Plymouth bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with the eastern side of Hobson Street, being also a point on the boundary of the City of New Plymouth as described in New Zealand Gazette of 29 May 1941, at page 1487; thence proceeding southerly to and along that eastern side of Hobson Street to the southern side of Lemon Street; thence westerly along the southern side of Lemon Street to the eastern side of Eliot Street; thence southerly along that eastern side of Eliot Street to the southern side of Pendarves Street; thence westerly along that southern side of Pendarves Street to the western side of Carrington Street; thence northerly along that western side of Carrington Street to the southern side of Vivian Street; thence westerly along that southern side of Vivian Street to the western side of Morley Street; thence northerly along that western side of Morley Street to the southern side of Powderham Street; thence westerly along that southern side of Powderham Street to the western side of Cutfield Road; thence northerly along that western side of Cutfield Road to the southern side of Devon Street; thence westerly along that southern side of Devon Street to the western side of Belt Road; thence northerly along that western side of Belt Road and its production to a point on the sea coast being also a point on the boundary of the City of New Plymouth described as aforesaid; thence easterly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.
