The appointment of the members to represent the Auckland University College Council and the Old Pupils’ Association of the School shall be made in each case by resolution passed by the said Council or the Executive Committee of the said Old Pupils’ Association, as the case may be, before or during the month of May in the year 1955 and in that month every second year thereafter, and the name of every member so appointed shall forthwith be notified to the Board.”

Defining the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Wellington Ladies’ Christian Association

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby defines the purpose to which the public reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall be dedicated as a site for a maternity home and hospital under the name of the Alexandra Home for Women, and further, vests the said reserve in the Wellington Ladies’ Christian Association, in trust, for that purpose.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949, Section 36

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
