A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of January 1955 and published in Gazette, 20 January 1955, No. 2, page 33, setting apart Crown land, together with and subject to certain water and incidental rights, for broadcasting purposes (transmitter site) in Block VII, Waimea Survey District, and hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set part, subject to the water rights and rights incidental thereto created by Grants Nos. 35685 (37D 382) and 35686 (37D 386) and Deeds Nos. 35895 (38D 111) and 35896 (38D 112), Nelson Land Registry, together with water rights and rights incidental thereto over part Lot 2, D.P. 2553, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 90, folio 5, created by Transfer 32903, Nelson Land Registry, for broadcasting purposes (transmitter site), and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of May 1955.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 17 acres 2 roods 25 perches.

Being parts of Sections 75 and 76, D.P. 3154, District of Waimea East.

Situated in Block VII, Waimea Survey District, Nelson R.D. (S.O. 9878.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 143825 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and also hereby take the land in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 16th day of February 1955 and published in Gazette, 24 February 1955, No. 13, page 276, taking additional land at Hokitika for the purposes of the Greymouth–Hokitika Railway, and hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Greymouth–Hokitika Railway.
