TAWA FLAT BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tawa Flat Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, street; and for the purpose of the said public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, at Main Road, Tawa Flat, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Tawa Flat Borough Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land situate in the Borough of Tawa Flat containing nine one-hundredths of a perch (0·09 pch.), be the same a little more or less, being that part of Section 42, Porirua District, in outline coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 23186, and being part of the land comprised and described in Deeds Record Book, Volume 113, Folio 946, Wellington Deeds Registry.

OHURA TOWN COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN

NOTICE is hereby given that the Ohura Town Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 3rd day of December 1952 to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £4,000 for the purposes of Water Supply Improvement.

The security for such loan shall be a special rate of 5d. in the pound on the rateable £17,590 value of all rateable property in the Ohura Town District.

Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Ohura Town Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
