Authorizing Owen Vaughan Harsant, of Whitianga, Farmer,
to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of
Coromandel

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of
April 1955
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Owen
Vaughan Harsant, of Whitianga, Farmer (hereinafter referred
to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set
forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric
lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be
inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the
Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference
Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in
amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1935, and shall be a direct-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall con-
tinue in force until the 31st day of March 1975.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of
supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s
generator situated in Lot 3 and proceeding in a north-
westcrly direction to a pole situated in the said Lot 3, with
branch lines proceeding as follows:
(a) In a north-westerly direction to a cow shed and work-
shop situated in Lot 2.
(b) In a north-easterly direction to a beach cottage
situated in Lot 1.
All being situated in part Allotment 6, Parish of Hahei,
Block XII, Otama Survey District, in the County of Coro-
mandel.
The said lines and buildings being more particularly shown
on the plan marked S.H.D. 313 deposited in the office of the
State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes Leo
Laurits Jensen, of Te Pohue, Hotel Proprietor (hereinafter
referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions herein-
after set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the
electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

and proceeding—
(1) In a north-westerly direction to the licensee’s hall situ-
ated in Lot 3, D.P. 3072, Blocks 25 and 26, Patoka
C.G.D.
(2) In a south-easterly direction to the licensee’s hotel
situated in Lot 91, Block XIII, Maungahuru S.D.;
and thence generally in a north-easterly direction
across the Napier-Taupo State Highway to the
licensee’s pump-house situated in Part 2, Blocks 25
and 26, Patoka C.G.D.
All being situated in the County of Hawke’s Bay, the said
lines being more particularly shown by black lines on the plan
marked S.H.D. 305, deposited in the office of the State Hydro-
electric Department at Wellington.

Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waipara

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of
April 1955

THE RIGHT HON S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes, subject
to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Mount Whitnow
Station Limited, a duly incorporated company having its regis-
tered office at Dunedin, Stuart John Alexander Bain, of
Mount Whitnow, Hawarden, Farmer, and Kenneth William
Stewart, of Dunedin, Solicitor, trading together in partnership
under the firm name of the Mount Whitnow Partnership
(hereinafter referred to as the licensees), to lay, construct,
put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto.

ated in Section 2075, Block VI, Okuku Survey
District.
The said lines being more particularly shown by means of
blue lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 318 deposited in the
office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.
