SOUTHLAND LAND, REGISTRATION, AND LAND REGISTRATION DISTRICTS

ALL that area in the Dominion of New Zealand bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast at the south-eastern corner of Waikawa Survey District; thence proceeding generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the Otago Land District hereinbefore described to Stripe Point; thence generally south-westerly and easterly along the sea coast to the point of commencement; including Stewart, Solander, Ruapuke, the Snares, Auckland, Enderby, Campbell, Antipodes, and Bounty Islands and all other adjacent islands, and all other islands or islets within the limits of the Dominion which lie south of the forty-seventh parallel of south latitude.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits the Pleasant Point Yacht Club of South Brighton (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rat Island in the Avon Estuary, Lyttelton Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 6319 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat shed and slip as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of April 1955.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be two pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable one pound ten shillings (£1 10s.).

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits Albert H. Bowman, Albert E. Chaney, Mervyn J. George, Malcolm E. Niccol, and Alfred L. Lee, all of Whitianga, as trustees for certain residents of the district (hereinafter called the trustees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Mercury Bay, Whitianga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 2639 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The annual sum payable by the trustees shall be 1s. payable on demand.

  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the date hereof.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits James Walker and Frank Walker, both of Waihau Bay (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Waihau Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8075, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
