District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the North Auckland Land District, Rodney County, being part Allotment 107, Parish of Manga-whai, situated in Blocks II, IV, and V, Mangawhai Survey District: Area, 542 acres 1 rood, more or less, as may be further defined on the southernmost boundary by the erection of white painted posts, and as the whole is more particularly delineated on plan marked I.A. 52/225 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red. Subject as to Part to a Drainage Easement

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the drainage easement over Lot 1, D.P. S.973 (referred to in the said Schedule) created by Memorandum of Transfer No. S.72955, Auckland Land Registry, is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of April 1955.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 rood 33·1 perches.
Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S.973, being part Otorohanga C 2b 3 Block, situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and being part of the land formerly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 883, folio 79, Auckland Land Registry.
Situated in the Borough of Otorohanga.

Being part Reserve 3614.
Situated in Block IX, Town of Darfield, Malvern County. (S.O. 8788.)

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 4th day of April 1955

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Te Puke Rabbit District Order 1955.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Te Puke Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day of June 1952,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TE PUKE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 52,300 acres in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the line of mean high water on the eastern shore of the entrance to the Tauranga Harbour, and running south-easterly generally along the line of mean high water of the Bay of Plenty, to the right bank of the Kaituna River; thence westerly generally up the right bank of the Kaituna River aforesaid, to a point in line with the western boundary of part of Tumu Kaituna No. 1 Block, as shown on D.P. 16773; thence along a right line across the Kaituna River aforesaid, to and along the middle of Belt’s Road to the middle of the Paeroa-Whakatane State Highway; thence southerly generally along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the northern boundary of the Borough
