A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 2 roods 28·7 perches.
Being part Section 8.
Situated in Block X, Waikaia Survey District, Southland R.D. (S.O. 6182.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 146141 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of April 1955.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 28th day of March 1955

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 31 March 1955.

Kaitaia Ashburton Murupara
Richmond Taupo
Waihi Wanganui

Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to those districts named in the first column of the Schedule hereto by revising only those properties on the district valuation rolls of the said districts which lie within the portions described in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

Ashburton County ..... That portion described in the Third Schedule of a Final Scheme promulgated by the Local Government Commission on 25 January 1955 which is to be excluded from the said County and included in Ashburton Borough.

Wanganui County ..... That portion described in the Schedule of a Final Scheme promulgated by the Local Government Commission on 25 January 1955 which is to be excluded from the said County and included in Wanganui City.

Dated at Wellington this 31st day of March 1955.
