MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Finance Act 1921-22 and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and principal and any other charges on a loan of one hundred and seventy-three thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£173,250) authorized to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of carrying out extensions and improvements to the borough water and sewerage systems, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-fifth pence (2⅕d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly in the month of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 70 (3) of the Companies Act 1933, that an Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 25th day of March 1955 confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £30,400 to £19,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the share capital of the company, as altered by the said Order, the particulars required by the said Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington on the 30th day of March 1955.
