HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Free Ambulance Site Loan 1954
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £1,800 authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council for the purpose of erecting a Free Ambulance Building in Lower Hutt, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-hundredth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the County of Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 24th day of March 1955.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply, Wairere Road, Belmont, Loan 1954
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £830 authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water-supply scheme to properties in Wairere and Western Hutt Roads, Belmont, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Wairere Road Special Rating Area No. 57, being all that area situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the westernmost corner of Lot 1, Block IX, Belmont Survey District, on plan numbered 8165, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence north-easterly, easterly, and south-easterly generally along the southern side of Wairere Road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 2 on plan numbered 1397, deposited as aforesaid; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundary of the Western Hutt State Highway to the south-western corner of Lot 1, on plan numbered 761, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-westerly for a distance of three chains along the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 1; thence by a right line in a north-easterly direction to a point on the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 1, distant four chains from the intersection of the aforesaid boundary with the north-western boundary of the Western Hutt State Highway; thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, on plan numbered 761 aforesaid, and the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, on plan numbered 12264, deposited as aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned Lot; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 7 and 9, on plan numbered 8165, deposited as aforesaid, to the point of intersection of the last-mentioned boundary by the production of the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 9 in a south-easterly direction; thence in a north-westerly direction to the north-eastern corner of Lot 10, on plan numbered 8165 aforesaid, and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 9 and 8, on plan numbered 8165 aforesaid,
to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 8 to its intersection with Wairere Road; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly generally along the south-western and north-eastern sides of Wairere Road to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, Block IX, Belmont Survey District, on plan numbered 8165, deposited as aforesaid, the point of commencement.
“That such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 24th day of March 1955.

NOTICE is hereby given by entry in the minute book of the above company in accordance with section 300 that the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed on the 22nd day of March 1955:
“Resolved, as an extraordinary resolution, that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

Notice of Meeting of Creditors Pursuant to Section 234 of the Companies Act 1933
NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in the minute book of the above company in accordance with section 300 on the 22nd day of March 1955 it was resolved that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 (section 300, subclause 7) of the Companies Act 1933, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, on Friday, the 1st day of April 1955, at the offices of Messrs Milne and Meek, Seventh Floor, Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1955, £25,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and its amendments, and of all other powers it thereto enabling, the Opunake Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges, on the Board’s Reticulation Loan 1955, of £25,000, authorized to be raised by the Opunake Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Opunake Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Opunake Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point one hundred and thirty-sixth of a penny (0·136d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Opunake Electric Power District, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”
Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Opunake Electric Power Board held in the Egmont County Council Chambers, Napier Street, Opunake, on 1 April 1955, the above resolution was duly passed.
