bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern
boundary of the Main South Road being the westernmost
corner of Lot 1, Deposited Plan 2468, being part Section 60,
Block VII, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; thence
generally southerly, easterly, and northerly along the western,
southern, and eastern boundaries of the Borough of Green
Island as described in New Zealand Gazette 1951, page 1104,
to the western boundary of Section 44, Block VI, Town Sur-
vey District, on the southern side of the Main South Road;
thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the
south-western and north-western boundaries of the City of
Dunedin as described in New Zealand Gazette 1949, page
1724, to the intersection of the north-eastern boundary of part
Section 70, Ocean Beach Survey District, in certificate of
title, Volume 275, folio 29, and the southern boundary of
Middleton Road; thence northerly to and generally south-
westcrly along the centre of Middleton Road and Blackhead
Road to the centre of the road on the north-eastern boundary
of Sections 140 and 100, Green Island Bush Survey District;
thence north-westerly along the centre of that road to the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, Deposited Plan 3258;
thence south-westerly to and north-westerly along the south-
western boundary of that Lot 2 to a point in line with the
southern boundaries of Sections 16, 15, and 14, Green Island
Bush Survey District; thence westerly along a straight line to
and along those boundaries and their production to the road on
the south-eastern boundary of Sections 1 to 10 and part
Section 11, Green Island Bush Survey District; thence south-
westcrly along the centre of that road to the road on the
south-western boundary of Section 1, Green Island Bush
Survey District; thence north-westerly along the centre of
that road and the centre of the road on the south-western
boundary of Section 89, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey
District, and its production to the centre of Kaikorai Stream;
thence generally north-westerly along the centre of Kaikorai
Stream and the centre of Abbots Creek to a point in line
with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, Deposited Plan
2468, thence north-easterly to the westernmost corner of that
lot, the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing
1 rood, more or less, being that portion of the Main South
Road bounded on the south-east by the centre line of the said
road; on the west by the eastern boundary of Section 1,
Block XV, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; on the
north-west by the north-western boundary of the aforesaid
road; and on the east by the western boundary of Section 42,
Block VI, Town Survey District.

Amending a Licence Authorizing William Manson Sutherland,
of Omarama, Farmer, to Use Water for the Purpose of
Generating Electricity

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 28th day of
March 1955
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends, as set forth
in the Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated the 10th
day of June 1937 and published in the Gazette on the 17th
day of the same month at page 1465, authorizing William
Manson Sutherland, of Omarama, Farmer, to use water for
the purpose of generating electricity.
SCHEDULE
CLAUSE 5 of the conditions hereof is deleted, and the follow-
ing clause is substituted therefor:
‘‘5. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
‘‘The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
(d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1935 and shall be an alternating-current system.’’

Waitangi Station, Kurow, to Use Water for the Purpose of
Generating Electricity

March 1955

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends, as set forth
in the Schedule hereto, the Order in Council dated the 10th
day of June 1937 and published in the Gazette on the 17th
day of the same month at page 1464, authorizing Arthur
Cargill Sutton, of Waitangi Station, Kurow, to use water for
the purpose of generating electricity.
SCHEDULE

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations
Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Otorohanga Borough Council to lay-off
the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a
width for parts of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less
than 50 ft.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the South Auckland Land District,
Borough of Otorohanga, containing by admeasurement 3 roods
6·34 perches, more or less, being parts Allotments 4, 5, 8, 9,
10, 11, 12, 21, 22, and 23, Block XI, Otorohanga Maori Town-
ship, situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 145141 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, blue,
and sepia.
