A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portions of street described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of street closed:

being part Section 8, and part Section 7.

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 145096 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation Taking Land for Road in Blocks II, III, and VII, Hamilton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 16 June 1954 and published in Gazette, 24 June 1954, Vol. 11, page 1036, taking land for road in Blocks II, III, and VII, Hamilton Survey District, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land no longer required: 2·7 perches.

Being part Lot 2, D.P. 10396, being part Allotment 7, Tamahere Parish.

Situated in Block VII, Hamilton Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 34092.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 142660 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring Land Vested in the Crown to be Free from Samoan Title

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 282 of the Samoa Act 1921, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being vested in the Crown, to be free from Samoan title.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece or parcel of land situated at Fagamalo, in the island of Savai'i, in the Territory of Western Samoa, containing three point three perches (3·3 perches), more or less, being parcel 56/54, Flur V, Savai'i as the same is more particularly delineated on plan 34S/VS deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of February 1955.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece or parcel of land situated at Fagamalo, in the island of Savai'i, in the Territory of Western Samoa, containing seven point nine nine perches (7·99 perches), more or less, being parcel 55/54, Flur V, Savai'i, as the same is more particularly delineated on plan 34S/VS deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Apia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of February 1955.

Granting Control of Part of the Foreshore of Horeke, Kohukohu, Rawene, Opononi, and Omarere, in Hokianga Harbour, in Hokianga Harbour Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 8th day of March 1955

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to the Hokianga Harbour Board (hereinafter called the Board) control of parts of the foreshore at Horeke, Kohukohu, Rawene, Opononi, and Omarere, in Hokianga Harbour, as described in the First Schedule hereto, and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF AREAS

ALL those parts of the foreshore situated in the Hokianga Harbour as follows:

(a) Commencing at the Waireke River on the western side of the Horeke Wharf and extending to the Mangatete Stream on the eastern side of the Horeke Wharf;

(b) Commencing at the Tauteihii Stream on the western side of the Kohukohu Wharf and extending to a point 60 chains on the north-eastern side of the Kohukohu Wharf;

(c) Commencing at the boundary of the Rawene Town District on the south-western side of the Rawene Wharf to the floodgate (near the commencement of the stopbank surrounding the reclaimed land) on the south-eastern side of the Rawene Wharf;

(d) Commencing at the road access on the extreme end of the Omarere Beach on the south-western side of the Opononi Wharf and extending to the Koutu Point on the eastern side of the Opononi Wharf;

as all such four areas are shown coloured red on plan marked M.D. 9816 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
