IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Notice of Final Winding-up Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter of W. Black Limited (in voluntary liquidation).

PURSUANT to section 232 of the Act a general meeting of the company is called to be held at the office of the liquidator, 154 Featherston Street, Wellington, on Monday, 7 February 1955, at 10.30 a.m., to consider the liquidator’s account showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.

FRANKLIN ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Retlculation Loan 1954, £120,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926 and all other powers thereunto enabling, the Franklin Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

‘That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the Franklin Electric Power Board Retlculation Loan 1954 of £120,000, authorized to be raised by the Franklin Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the constituent districts of Franklin County, part Raglan County, Pukekohe Borough, Waiuku and Tuakau Towns comprising the Franklin Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters or things that the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards’ Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Franklin Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven twenty-fifths of one penny in the pound (7/25d. in the £) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Franklin Electric Power District; and that such special rate is to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully repaid.’

I certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Franklin Electric Power Board held on the 27th day of October 1954.

Subscriptions.—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:—

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:—

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, £1 10s. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, £3 3s. per calendar year in advance.

(4) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Wellington C. I. Separate copies of Regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
