Tobacco Growers’ Insurance—Appointment of Assessors

PURSUANT to regulation 35 of the Tobacco Growing Industry Regulations 1945, the Tobacco Board has appointed the following panel of assessors for the purpose of tobacco growers’ insurance:

Declaring Stockton Domain to be a Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Stockton Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of that Act.

SECTIONS 8 and 29, Block VII, Ngakawau Survey District: Area, 6 acres 1 rood 36 perches, more or less.

Land Reserved in the Land District of Otago and Declared to Form Part of Ocean Grove Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Ocean Grove Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936

PURSUANT to clause 26 of regulation 7 and clause 10 of regulation 16 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the makes and types described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

RED reflectors (Model Nos. 4, 7, 10, 10A, 40, 40A) manufactured by Bluemel Bros. Ltd., England, having 1½ in. diameter prismatic lenses.

‘‘Scotchlite’’ wide angle flat top reflective material (otherwise known as ‘‘Micro-lens’’) of the following shapes and sizes:

(a) Disc, 4 in. in diameter.

(b) Disc, 3 in. in diameter.

(c) Rectangle, 5 in. by 1 in.
