SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OTOKIA RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the Taieri County of the Otago Land District,
containing 34,200 acres, more or less, and bounded by a line com-
mencing at the mouth of the Kaikorai Stream; thence generally
south-westerly along the mean high-water mark of the ocean to the
mouth of the Taieri River; thence generally north-westerly along
the north-eastern bank of the Taieri River to Henley; thence
generally north-easterly along the south-eastern bank of the Taieri
River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of the
Town of Allanton; thence south-easterly to and across the Main
South Railway; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern
side of that railway to Riccarton Road; thence south-easterly
along that road to and across the Dunedin-Gore State Highway;
thence generally easterly along the southern side of that highway
to the boundary of the Borough of Green Island; thence generally
south-easterly by that boundary to the Kaikorai Stream; thence
generally south-westerly by the centre of that stream to its mouth
the point of commencement.

Foreshore—Evans Bay—Wellington Harbour—Use of Building
for Recreational Purposes

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of
March 1955
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes the
Wellington Harbour Board to license and permit the use and
occupation of a part of the foreshore and land below low-
water mark at Evans Bay, in the Wellington Harbour, as
shown on the plan marked M.D. 7681 and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department, Wellington, for the purpose
of maintaining a building thereon as shown on the said plan,
such building to be used and occupied for recreational pur-
poses by a body which includes in its objects the physical
well-being and recreation of its members, and which is
approved by the Wellington Harbour Board.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in
Council of the 7th day of April 1954 Licensing The Roose
Shipping Company Limited to use and occupy a part of the
foreshore at Huntly, Taupiri, and Hamilton, in the Waikato
River, as sites for wharves, sheds, and breastwork, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the 22nd day of the same month at
page 622, as set out in the Schedule hereto:
SCHEDULE
- The hereinbefore recited Order in Council of the 7th day
of April 1954 is hereby amended as follows:
(a) By revoking the words “Huntly, Taupiri, and Hamil-
ton”, and substituting the words “Huntly and Taupiri”.
(b) By revoking the words “and 6955”.
(c) Clause 2 of the conditions of the said Order in Council
is amended by revoking the words “fifteen pounds (£15)”,
and substituting the words “ten pounds (£10)”.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby licenses and permits
Robert Shanks Whale and Edward Lawrence Haggie, both
of Rawene (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall
include their executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the
context requires a different construction) to use and occupy
a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at
Rawene, Hokianga Harbour, at the site shown as number 8b
on plan marked M.D. 6300 and deposited in the office of the
Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of main-
taining thereon a shop as shown on the said plan, such licence
to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This Licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regu-
lations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The premium payable by the licensees shall be two
pounds (£2) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).
(3) The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from
the 1st day of March 1955.

from Payment of Rates

PURSUANT to section 104 (3) of the Rating Act 1925,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
revokes an Order in Council made on 30 October 1933 and
published in the Gazette of 9 November 1933, Volume III,
page 2716, exempting certain Maori land in the County of
Tauramurin from payment of rates.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the resolution passed by the Palmerston North
City Council on the 13th day of December 1954 and set out
in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side
and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
The Palmerston North City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Palmerston North,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of
the Public Works Act shall not apply to the north-western
side of Main Street fronting a subdivision of part section
15, Township of Palmerston North, Block XL, Kairanga
Survey District, comprised in certificates of title 47/117 and
77/45.
