to the south-eastern corner of the Takararoa Block, D.P. 1760,
Hawke’s Bay Registry; thence north-westerly generally by
the southern boundary of the said Takararoa Block, D.P.
1760, to and across the Wharerata—Opoutama Road and pro-
duced up the middle of the said Waiau River to a point in line
with the southern boundary of part Lot 6, D.P. 1026,
Gisborne Registry; thence westerly to and by the southern
boundary of the said Lot 6, D.P. 1026, to and across the
Gisborne—Napier Railway; thence again by the southern and
western boundaries of the said part Lot 3, D.P. 1026, to
its intersection with the Cook County boundary aforesaid
mentioned; thence south-easterly by that county boundary
to the mean high water mark of the sea at Parito, the point
of commencement.
Also all that area in the Gisborne Land District, being
portion of the Tuhara Riding of the Wairoa County, con-
taining 112 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows:
commencing at a point in Block VIII, Opoti Survey District,
being the intersection of the Cook County boundary as
described in New Zealand Gazette 1951, page 425, and the
middle of the Mangapoike River; thence proceeding southerly
generally by the middle of that river to its confluence with
the Mangarangiora Stream; thence north-westerly generally
by the middle of that stream to its intersection with the
county boundary aforesaid mentioned; thence south-easterly by
that boundary to its intersection with the middle of the
Mangapoike River, the point of commencement.

County of Wairoa
ALL that area in the Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay Land
Districts bounded as follows: commencing at the north-eastern
boundary of Takararoa Block, D.P. 1759 (Hawke’s Bay
Registry), the mean high water mark of the sea; thence
along the mean high water mark of the sea to the mouth of
the Waikari River; thence up the middle of that river to
and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block
XI, Wairara Survey District, to Trigonometrical Station B1
(Patua Wahine), at the easternmost corner of Section 6,
Block V, Wairara Survey District, and north-westerly along
the north-eastern boundary of that section produced to
the middle of the Mohaka River; thence up the middle of that
river to its confluence with the Te Hoe River, up the middle
of the Te Hoe River to its intersection with the eastern
boundary of Te Whaiti Block; thence north-westerly along a
right line to the south-western corner of Whakatane County;
thence north-easterly along a right line to the northernmost
point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence again north-easterly
along a right line running in the direction of Puketapu Trigo-
metrical Station to the intersection of the north-eastern
boundary of Waipaoa Block (Permanent State Forest No.
91); thence northerly generally along the north-western
boundary of that block to Pukepuke Trigonometrical Station;
thence north-easterly to Pukehuruhuru No. 2 Trigonometrical
Station; again north-easterly by the north-western boundary
of the last-mentioned block, and that boundary produced to
the intersection of a line running between Maungapohatu and
Puketapu Trigonometrical Stations; thence south-easterly
along the last-mentioned line to the western boundary of
Tahora No. 2r Section 2, Subdivision 2; thence northerly
along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Lot 18
of Tahora 2r Section 2; thence south-easterly along the north-
eastern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 18 to Sub-trigono-
metrical Station A; thence easterly by the northern boundary
of Lot 23, D.P. 1952, Block III, Tuahu Survey District,
the northern boundary of Lot 24, D.P. 1952, southerly by
the eastern boundary of the said Lot 24, D.P. 1953, to
Trigonometrical Station K (Kairanga), being the most
northerly point of Lot 21, D.P. 1951; thence south-easterly
generally by the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot
21, D.P. 1951, to the northern boundary of Section 3, Block
VIII, Tuahu Survey District; thence easterly by the northern
boundary of the said Section 3 and of Section 1, Block VIII,
Tuahu Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the
said Section 1; thence south-westerly by the south-eastern
boundary of that Section to a point in the middle of the
Hangaroa Junction—Waikaremoana Road; thence north-
easterly by the middle of that road to the Bushy Knoll Road;
thence south-easterly by the north-eastern boundary of that
road to the north-west corner of Section 10, Block IX,
Hangaroa Survey District; thence easterly and southerly by
the northern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 10
to the Bushy Knoll Road aforesaid mentioned; thence southerly
generally by the eastern side of the said road to a point
opposite the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block IX,
Hangaroa Survey District; thence southerly across the road
to and by the last-mentioned boundary and the north-western
boundary of Tauwharetoi 4b Block to the northernmost corner
of that Block; thence south-easterly by the north-eastern
boundaries of Tauwharetoi 4b and 3b 1 Blocks; the north-
western boundary of Section 2, Block XIV, Hangaroa Survey
District, to the middle of the Hangaroa River; thence by
the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern
boundary of Mangapoike 2a No. 2 Block in Block II, Opoti
Survey District; thence southerly to and by the eastern
boundary of that Block to Lot 4, D.P. 1938; thence north-
easterly, easterly, and south-westerly by the north-western
boundaries of the said Lot 4, the northern and eastern
boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 1939, to the north-western boundary
of Mangapoike part 2D Block; thence north-easterly by that
boundary to connecting point K on M.L. Plan 1628b; thence
southerly by a right line to connecting point F4 on M.L.
Plan 1628b on the north-western boundary of Mangapoike
2r Block; thence north-easterly by the north-western boundary
of the said Mangapoike 2r Block produced to the middle of
Mangarangiora Stream; thence south-easterly by the middle
of the said Mangarangiora Stream to its junction with the
Mangapoike River; thence north-easterly by the middle of
the said Mangapoike River to its intersection with the western
boundary of Mangapoike B Block; thence southerly generally
to and by the eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 1401,
to the north-west side of Mangapahi Road; thence easterly
generally along the northern side of that road to the western
boundary of Nuhaka 2b 2r Block; thence north-westerly by
the western boundaries of that block and of Nuhaka 2n 2a 1
Block to the north-western corner thereof; thence north-
easterly by the northern boundary of that Block to its inter-
section with the south-western boundary of S.G.R. 40; thence
north-westerly by that boundary to Trigonometrical Station
FX (Pukeromu); thence north-easterly by the north-western
boundary of the said S.G.R. 40 to Trigonometrical Station J
(Pukehoe); thence south-easterly by the north-eastern
boundary of the said S.G.R. 40 to its intersection with
Section 1, Block VI, Nuhaka North Survey District; thence
south-westerly, easterly, and north-easterly by the north-
western, southern, and south-eastern boundaries of the said
Section 1, to its intersection with Maraeataha 2c Block; thence
south-easterly by the northern boundary of S.G.R. 40 and of
a closed road, again by the said northern boundary of S.G.R.
40, across a public road, and again by the said northern
boundary of S.G.R. 40, to the middle of the Puringa Stream;
thence southerly by the middle of that stream and the Nuhaka
River for approximately 70 chains to a point in line with
the east side of a public road; thence southerly generally
to and by the east side of the said public road to its inter-
section with the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block
XI, Nuhaka North Survey District; thence south-easterly by
the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 to the north-western
side of the Gisborne—Wairoa via Morere State
Highway No. 49; thence north-easterly by the north-western
boundary of the said highway to its intersection with the
north-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XI, Nuhaka North
Survey District; thence south-easterly across the Gisborne—
Wairoa via Morere State Highway No. 49 to the northern-
most corner of Section 3, Block XI, Nuhaka North Survey
District; thence in a southerly direction generally by the
eastern boundary of that section and of Sections 12 and 20,
Block XV, Nuhaka North Survey District, to the north-
western corner of Paritu No. 3 Block, thence south-easterly
generally by the northern and eastern boundaries of the
said Paritu No. 3 Block and the north-eastern boundaries of
Paritu 2b 2 and 2A Blocks to and across the Gisborne—Napier
Railway, and again by the north-eastern boundary of Paritu
2a Block and that line produced to the middle of the Waiu
River; thence southerly generally by the middle of the said
Waiu River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary
of part Takararoa Block (D.P. 1759, Napier Registry); thence
south-easterly generally to and along that boundary, across
the Wharerata—Opoutama Road and again by the said
north-eastern boundary of said part Takararoa
Block (D.P. 1759, Napier Registry) to the mean high water
mark of the sea, being the point of commencement, excluding
therefrom the Borough of Wairoa as described in New Zealand
Gazette 1939, page 2379, and including Portland Island.
County of Cook
All that area in the Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay Land
District bounded as follows: commencing at the intersection
of a road with the south-western boundary of Small Grazing
Run No. 42 in Block XI, Waingaromia Survey District;
thence north-westerly by that boundary to the north-eastern
corner of Section 3, Block XI, Waingaromia Survey District;
thence by the south-western boundaries of that section and
of Section 1, Block XI, Waingaromia Survey District, to the
middle of the Kaitangata Stream; thence by the middle of
that stream, the Hinukiwahia Stream, and the boundary of
Section 4, Block XV, Waingaromia Survey District, to the
easternmost corner of that Section; thence by the southern
boundary of the said Section 4, Block XV, Waingaromia
Survey District, the eastern boundary of Waihora 2n 2, 2n 1a
Blocks, the northern and south-western boundaries of Waihora
2n 1s Block to the northernmost corner of Papakoroko No. 5
Block; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of Papakoroko
No. 6, 4A, 4B Blocks to the middle of the Mangarangi
Stream; thence by the middle of that stream, the south-
eastern and south-western boundaries of Papakoroko No. 3
Block, the eastern boundary of Papakoroko 2A 1 Block,
again to the middle of the Mangarangi Stream; thence by
the middle of that stream to the north-western corner of
Ahirau 2c Block; thence by the south-western boundary of
Ahirau 2r and 1a Blocks to the middle of the Mangataikohu
Stream; thence by the middle of that stream to the Waipaoa
River; thence by a line to and along the middle of that
river to a point in line with the middle of the Punarua
Stream; thence to and by the middle of that stream to its
intersection with the road at the north-eastern corner of
Section 12a Epongaere Settlement, in Block XVI, Waikohu
Survey District; thence to and by the middle of that road
to its intersection with the middle of the Te Puni Stream;
thence by the middle of that stream to the north-eastern
corner of Okahutiu 1n 2n 1 Block; thence by the southern,
south-western, and north-western boundaries of Tangihanga
