PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Butea of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, revokes the reservation for road-metal purposes over the said land.

Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1936

———

PURSUANT to clause 26 of regulation 7 and clause 10 of regulation 16 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport hereby approves for the purposes of the said regulations red reflectors of the makes and types described in the Schedule hereto.

REPLACEMENT tail lamp lens (model LG-75) marked “Remax”, incorporating built-in reflector lens 1½ in. in diameter marked “Remax. Made in England. B.S. 2515 Grade 1”. Manufacturer: Remax Ltd., London, England.

Red reflectors manufactured by Remax Ltd., London, having 1½ in. diameter lenses marked “Remax. Made in England. B.S. 2515 Grade 1”.

Red reflectors manufactured by Joseph Lucas Ltd., Birmingham, having 1½ in. diameter lenses marked “Lucas Reflex. Made in England”, and moulded “Top” at the top and “1·5” at the bottom.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

———

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him while he is under the age of eighteen years to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
