OFFICIAL MESSAGES TO BRITISH MERCHANT SHIPS AND FISHING VESSELS

(Correcting New Zealand Notice to Mariners No. 2 of 1955)

DELETE 2,162 kc/s (in three places), and substitute 2,206 kc/s.

The working frequency of New Zealand coast radio stations
Auckland, Wellington, Awarua for radio telephone broadcasts
to British Merchant ships and fishing vessels has been changed
from 2,162 kc/s to 2,206 kc/s.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the Borough of Birkenhead
(Notice No. Ag. 5834)

PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-
General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from
the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act,
hereby publishes the following special order made by the
Birkenhead Borough Council on the 18th day of January 1955.

SPECIAL ORDER

IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious
Weeds Act 1950, the Birkenhead Borough Council hereby
resolve and declare by way of special order that the plants
mentioned in the Schedule below (being plants mentioned in
the First Schedule to the said Act) are noxious weeds within
the Borough of Birkenhead.
