INCLUDED IN THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
ALL that area in the No. 1 and No. 2 Ridings of the County of Halswell, Canterbury Land District, bounded commencing at a point on the south-eastern side of Lincoln Road in line with the middle line of Annex Road, such point being on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence in a south-easterly direction generally along the south-eastern side of Lincoln Road to and along the left bank of Heathcote River to a point in line with the middle of the Cashmere Stream; thence across the Heathcote River and along the middle of Cashmere Stream to the eastern side of an unformed road through Rural Section 383; thence along the eastern side of that road and of Worsleys Road to the middle of Cashmere Stream; thence south-westerly along the middle of that stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 3 on D.P. 12061; thence northerly generally to and along the western boundary of Lot 3 aforesaid and along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 17148, to and across Cashmere Road and along the eastern boundary of Lot 22 on D.P. 3217 to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 15 on D.P. 3217 and its production to the middle of Sparks Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of Sparks Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 6 on D.P. 3217; thence north-westerly to and along the last-mentioned boundary to the northernmost corner of that lot; thence along the north-western boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 16569, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 16569, to the southernmost corner of Reserve 4704 (Hoon Hay Domain); thence again north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Reserve 4704; Lots 19, 18, and 17, D.P. 682, Lot 4, D.P. 15639, Lots 11, 10, 9, and 8, D.P. 13771, Lot 13, D.P. 682, Lot 2, D.P. 14014, and Lot 1, D.P. 7466, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Halswell Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of Halswell Road to a point in line with the middle of Templetons Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road and its production to the middle of Heathcote River; thence northerly generally along the middle of that river to a point in line with that south-eastern boundary which measures 24·33 links on Lot 1, D.P. 9987; thence to and along that boundary to the western boundary of Rural Section 146; thence north-westerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of Middle Lincoln Road; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the middle lines of Middle Lincoln and Annex Roads and the production of the last-mentioned line to the south-eastern side of Lincoln Road, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE AND
INCLUDED IN THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH
ALL that area in Cashmere Riding of the County of Heathcote, being part Rural Section 383, bounded commencing at a point being the intersection of the eastern side of Worsleys Road and the middle line of Cashmere Stream; thence in a northerly direction generally along the eastern side of Worsleys Road and an unformed public road, through Rural Section 383, to the middle of Cashmere Stream; thence southerly generally along the middle of that stream to the point of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF HALSWELL AND
INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE
ALL that area in the No. 2 Riding of the County of Halswell comprising portions of Cashmere Road, an unformed road, and portion of the beds of Heathcote River and Cashmere Stream, bounded commencing at the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 383; thence westerly along the southern side of Cashmere Road and the eastern side of an unformed road through Rural Section 383 to the middle of Cashmere Stream; thence northerly along the middle of that stream and its production to the left bank of Heathcote River; thence south-easterly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 383, the point of commencement.

Boundaries of the City of Lower Hutt and the County of Hutt Altered

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 15 of the Local Government Commission Act 1953, the Lower Hutt City Council requested the Local Government Commission to consider a proposal that a reorganization scheme be prepared to provide for the exclusion of a certain area from the City of Lower Hutt and its inclusion in the County of Hutt:
And whereas the Local Government Commission has considered the said proposal and has approved as final a scheme bearing date the 15th day of November 1954, providing for the exclusion of the area described in the Schedule to the said scheme from the City of Lower Hutt and the inclusion of that area in the County of Hutt:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to give effect to the final scheme as hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that as on and from the 1st day of April 1955 the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the City of Lower Hutt and included in the County of Hutt, and with the like advice and consent hereby also declares that the alteration of boundaries of the said city and the said county hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE CITY OF LOWER HUTT AND
INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF HUTT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, being the southernmost corner of Section 240, Hutt District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to the generally eastern side of Wainui Hill Road; thence southerly generally along the eastern side of that road for distances of 4·39 links, 85·3 links, 144·15 links, and 369·38 links, to a road angle; thence south-westerly along the half-angle intersection to the generally western side of Wainui Hill Road; thence southerly generally along that side of Wainui Hill Road, to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Section 77, Hutt District; thence north-easterly, along that boundary across Wainui Hill Road, again along that boundary, to and across Wainui Hill Road, along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Section 76, Hutt District, to its easternmost corner; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that section, to the southernmost corner of Section 240 aforesaid, being the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto for the common use and benefit of the Maori people living at Waimamaku as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place and recreation ground.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 27th day of September 1939 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 28th day of the same month at page 2577, authorizing Joseph Eccles Todhunter, of Clarence Bridge, Marlborough, Farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect certain electric lines.
