THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
consents to the Raglan County Council stopping the portions
of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be
stopped:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 3 35·3 Lot 2 and part Lot 1, D.P. 23606, being parts
Allotment 29, Parish of Pepepe.
0 1 32·6 Parts Allotment 28, Parish of Pepepe.

Situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District (Auckland

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.

Authorizing the Laying-off of an Extension of Armstrong
Avenue in the Borough of Carterton, Subject to a Condition
as to the Building-line

THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1948 and section 125 of the Public
Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorizes the Carterton Borough Council to permit the
laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for a part of its length of less than 66 ft.
but not less than 50 ft. subject to the condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land
fronting the said street within a distance of 40 ft. from the
centre line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough
of Carterton, being an extension of Armstrong Avenue,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 25·88 perches, more or
less, being parts of section 142 of the Taratahi Plain Block.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 142217, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Western Side of Portions of Bute Street, in the City of
Wellington, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128
of the Public Works Act 1928

THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the following resolution passed by the Wellington
City Council on the 15th day of April 1953, viz.:

‘‘The Wellington City Council, being the local
authority having control of the streets in Wellington City,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of
the Public Works Act 1928, shall not apply to the
western side of the portions of Bute Street adjoining
those parts of Town Section 149, being all of the land in
certificates of title, Volume 340, folio 31, Volume 364, folio
122, Wellington Registry, as is more particularly shown on
the plan annexed hereto’’,

such portions of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

THE western side of all those portions of street situated in
the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as
Bute Street, fronting Lots 1, 2, 4, and 5, Deeds Plan 487,
being parts of Section 149, Town of Wellington.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 142086, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Road (Newstead Farm Settlement Road)
in the Waikato County to be County Road

THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and
declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road (Newstead Farm Settlement Road)
in the South Auckland Land District, Waikato County, Block
XV, Komakorau Survey District, commencing at the north-
western corner of Allotment 378, Kirikiriroa Parish, and pro-
ceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a
distance of approximately 62 chains and terminating at the
north-eastern corner of Allotment 390, Kirikiriroa Parish.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 142178, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing H. F. Stevens, Limited, to Erect and Use Certain
Electric Lines in the City of Christchurch

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of
January 1954
Present:
THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorizes, subject
to the conditions hereinafter set forth, H. F. Stevens, Limited,
a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1933
and having its registered office at Christchurch (hereinafter
referred to as the licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place,
and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences
    by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
    be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance
    by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935,
    the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Inter-
    ference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter
    made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor
    respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in para-
    graph (a) of Regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply
    Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall
    continue in force until the 31st day of March 1958.

LIMITATION AS TO USE OF ELECTRIC LINES

  1. The electric lines described in the Schedule hereto
    shall be used by the licensee only during periods when the
    supply of electrical energy from the Christchurch City Council
    is insufficient or is not available.
