Proclaiming Maori Land to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 450 of the Maori Land Act 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in Her Majesty the Queen.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area known as Rangatira or South East Island containing 540 acres, more or less, situated in Block X, Rangiauria Survey District, being all that land described in certificate of title, Volume 192, folio 253.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of November 1953.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Forest Sanctuary

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as a forest sanctuary.

Erua Forest Sanctuary
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Kaitieke County, containing 16 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of Erua State Forest, situated in Block VIII, Manganui Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at a point bearing 177° 57′ and distant 769 links from Peg II on the Erua Road; thence by lines bearing 88° 15′, 399 links; 108° 45′, 360 links; 213° 15′, 392 links; 255° 30′, 693 links; 304° 30′, 664 links; 268° 00′, 167 links; 282° 15′, 131 links; 263° 30′, 158 links; 232° 45′, 213 links; 271° 30′, 130 links; 340° 30′, 122 links; 41° 30′, 246 links; 327° 30′, 445 links; 254° 15′, 555 links; 208° 15′, 359 links; 274° 00′, 119 links; 304° 00′, 188 links; 268° 45′, 302 links; 279° 15′, 402 links; 305° 00′, 208 links; 313° 15′, 110 links; 330° 45′, 185 links; 60° 15′, 96 links; 115° 30′, 112 links; 101° 00′, 87 links; 66° 15′, 137 links; 99° 45′, 598 links; 90° 00′, 1038 links; 97° 00′, 1049 links; 93° 00′, 279 links; and 125° 30′, 300 links to the point of commencement. A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of February 1954.
