Town AND Country PLANNING ACT 1953

Pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1954, public notice is hereby given that the district
scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for
NORMANDALE (HUTT COUNTY) was approved by the
Hutt County Council by resolution passed at its meeting
held on the 11th day of November 1954 after all objections,

appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been
disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect
to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of
the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 1st day of January 1955.

Copies of the scheme, as approved, have been deposited in
the Council's office and at the General Store, Miro Miro
Road, Normandale, and may be inspected, without fee, by
any person who so requires at any time when the Council's
office is open to the public or when the proprietor of the
store makes it available.

to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all
variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come

the Council's office, Bowen House, Wellington, and may be
inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its
amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Matamata County Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for
road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing
the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Clerk of the above Council, situated at Tirau,
and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have any objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and lodge the same at the office of the County
Clerk within forty days from the publication of this notice.

I HEREBY give notice that at the poll of ratepayers taken
on Saturday, the 11th day of December 1954, under
section 40 of the Rating Act 1925, the Counties Amendment
Act 1952, and the Local Elections and Polls Act 1953, on a
proposal to adopt the system of rating on unimproved value
in the Mangere Bridge County Town, the number of votes
recorded was as follows:

Pursuant to section 42 of the Rating Act 1925, I therefore
declare the proposal to adopt the system of rating on the
unimproved value within the said Mangere Bridge County
Town to be carried.
