Declaration That Private Land Shall be a Private Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the private land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a private scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by estimation 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2, Block I, Paterson Survey District, and bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2, distant approximately 300 yards from the northernmost corner of the said Section 2; thence south-westerly by a right line on a bearing of 210° for a distance of 44 yards; thence south-easterly by a right line on a bearing of 120° for a distance of 33 yards; thence north-easterly by a right line on a bearing of 30° for a distance of 44 yards to the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 for a distance of 33 yards to the point of commencement; part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 180, folio 69; and more particularly shown on plan numbered 4/939B deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Upper Hutt Borough Council on the 25th day of May 1954:

"That Section 21, Town of Mawaihakona, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, be declared to be a public reserve within the meaning of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, for recreation purposes."

Cancelling the Vesting and Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Wellington Land District

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and revokes the reservation for a site for municipal buildings over the said land.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and, further, revokes the reservation for gravel pit purposes over the said land.
